Job Description - Senior Java Platform Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Platform Engineer with strong expertise in modern Java technologies, platform engineering, distributed systems, and cloud-native application development. The ideal candidate will have experience building enterprise-scale frameworks, APIs, and event-driven solutions while driving engineering standards and platform capabilities across teams. Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 17/21+ and Spring Boot (3.x preferred).
• Proven experience building shared frameworks, platform services, and reusable enterprise components, beyond traditional application development.
• Strong expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs and implementing OpenAPI specifications.
• Experience building and supporting event-driven architectures using Kafka.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and related design patterns, including:
  • Resilience engineering
  • Retry mechanisms
  • Circuit breaker implementation
  • Fault tolerance and high availability
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience integrating with legacy enterprise systems, including:

  • Mainframe environments
  • CIS platforms
• Hands-on experience with Redis, Kafka, and Oracle in high-volume production environments.
• Strong understanding of modern security practices, including:
