Job Description:

We are hiring a Senior IT Project Manager to lead multiple concurrent, technically complex initiatives across SaaS platforms, cloud environments, integrations, and custom software development. This role owns end-to-end delivery accountability including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and stakeholder alignment from initiation through stabilization.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical fluency and hands-on experience delivering cloud and software engineering initiatives. They are comfortable engaging with architects and engineers on system design, integration patterns, environments, release strategy, and DevOps practices while maintaining disciplined project governance and business alignment.

Work Arrangement:
  • Employees who live within 30 miles of the TMG home office are expected to follow a hybrid or in-office schedule. The initial training period may require additional in-office days.


Accountabilities:

Technical Delivery Leadership
  • Lead multiple concurrent technology initiatives including SaaS implementations, cloud migrations, system integrations, and custom application development.
  • Develop deep understanding of solution architecture, technology stack, integration points, and deployment models to effectively manage delivery risk.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Architecture to align scope with technical design and feasibility.
  • Ensure environments, dependencies, APIs, data flows, and infrastructure considerations are reflected in delivery plans.
  • Anticipate technical risks including integration complexity, performance, security, and scalability concerns.


Multi-Project Execution & Governance
  • Define and document scope, assumptions, constraints, technical dependencies, and measurable success criteria.
  • Build integrated project plans that reflect application, infrastructure, data, and security workstreams.
  • Develop effort estimates in partnership with engineering teams and manage critical path across technical components.
  • Maintain RAID and decision logs with clear mitigation strategies and technical impact assessment.
  • Drive structured governance including steering updates and executive decision forums.


Cloud, SaaS & Software Development Delivery
  • Manage delivery across cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Lead SaaS platform implementations including configuration, integration, data migration, and vendor coordination.
  • Oversee custom software development lifecycles including requirements, design, build, testing, release, and stabilization.
  • Ensure alignment with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, environment promotion strategies, and release management.
  • Coordinate integration patterns such as APIs, event-driven architecture, middleware, or ETL processes.


Financial & Vendor Management
  • Develop and manage detailed project financials across CapEx and OpEx.
  • Manage vendor SOWs, delivery milestones, and performance accountability.
  • Ensure third-party deliverables meet technical and quality expectations.


Quality & Production Readiness
  • Enforce quality gates across the SDLC including design reviews, code reviews, test strategy validation, and security reviews.
  • Ensure comprehensive testing coverage including integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Confirm production readiness including monitoring, observability, rollback planning, and operational documentation.
  • Lead structured cutover and post-go-live stabilization.


Executive Communication & Stakeholder Alignment
  • Establish communication strategies appropriate to project size and technical complexity.
  • Provide clear, data-driven reporting that translates technical progress into business outcomes.
  • Present risks, tradeoffs, and architectural considerations with clear recommendations.
  • Influence technical and business stakeholders to maintain alignment and delivery momentum.


Qualifications:

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in IT or technology roles.
  • 7+ years of experience in project and delivery management for technical initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multiple concurrent cloud, SaaS, integration, or custom software development projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, cloud architecture concepts, APIs, integrations, and deployment models.
  • Experience building integrated project plans that account for infrastructure, environments, data, and security considerations.
  • Proven ability to manage technically complex cross-functional teams.
  • Strong command of project management fundamentals including scope, estimation, scheduling, financial management, risk quantification, quality assurance, and change control.
  • Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, hybrid, and waterfall environments.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • PMP strongly preferred.


Preferred Experience
  • Experience delivering enterprise SaaS platforms.
  • Hands-on exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization, or modern application frameworks.
  • Experience in regulated environments.
  • Background contributing to DevOps maturity or release management improvements.
  • Experience mentoring junior project managers.


Pay Range:

Anticipated Hiring Range:
  • $105,000 - $135,000 annual base salary depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location
