The WDP focuses on operational warfighting data and aims to accelerate the deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) on the battlefield. The WDP extends to Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret environments, and supports collaboration between Combatant Commands, Joint Staff directorates, Senior Executive Service leaders, and operational analysts.

The Senior IT Asset Manager provides enterprise-level asset governance leadership in support of WDP operational readiness across cloud, hardware, and software environments spanning multiple classification levels. This role is central to maintaining configuration accuracy, lifecycle traceability, and mission assurance across a complex, multi-enclave platform serving joint service users and Combatant Command stakeholders.
• Delivers enterprise asset management leadership supporting the operational readiness of cloud, hardware, and software resources across classified and unclassified environments.
• Establishes and operates structured asset management systems, processes, and procedures governing acquisition, tagging, tracking, lifecycle oversight, and decommission actions for all platform components.
• Develops and maintains a configuration-managed database documenting inventory attributes, contract relationships, licensing status, support timelines, and operational dependencies.
• Coordinates with engineering, cybersecurity, and system administration teams to validate asset accuracy and reconcile discrepancies affecting mission availability, resource allocation, and compliance with Department of War expectations.
• Oversees audit support activities by preparing traceable records, asset lineage documentation, and lifecycle evidence requested by inspectors, commanders, and program leadership.
• Directs decommission operations, including data sanitization requirements, hardware disposition, license reclamation, and documentation of removed components.
• Maintains asset utilization metrics, cost performance indicators, and availability analyses supporting financial forecasting, acquisition planning, and modernization decisions.
• Leads coordination with Government points of contact to align asset accountability with mission requirements, cross-domain operations, and system sustainment priorities.
• Applies disciplined asset governance practices to advance operational continuity, configuration accuracy, and mission assurance across complex system landscapes supporting joint service users and Combatant Command stakeholders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Current Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
• 10 or more years of experience managing IT asset management programs in federal government or DoW environments, including lifecycle tracking of cloud, hardware, and software assets across classified and unclassified networks.
• Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) or equivalent asset repository, including inventory reconciliation, licensing management, and integration with enterprise IT service management platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Experience supporting government audit activities through the development and maintenance of traceable asset records, lifecycle documentation, and disposition reporting in compliance with federal asset accountability standards.
• Familiarity with IT asset management across multi-enclave environments, including NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS, with demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-domain asset tracking and compliance reporting.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate solution.
• Highly developed interpersonal and oral/written communication skills, with the ability to effectively and professionally interact with a diverse set of stakeholders (from peers to end-users to executive management).
