Description:We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investment Product Specialist and Sales team, part of our Investments and Retirement business at Marsh. This role will be based in Toronto. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
In this role, you will provide client and sales support for the US and Canada Analytics, Research, and Tools clients, as well as Mercer colleagues in the region. You will also transition into a quota-carrying sales position after roughly six months.
We will count on you to:- In this role you will provide business development & sales support for the Canda and USA MAPs clients
- This quota carrying potions will be high activity with external outreach
- Identifying and qualifying target organizations and selling opportunities
- Assist with MercerInsight tutorials & demonstrations
- Provide input into the ongoing MAPS tools development
- Populate CRM of activity and create pineline
- Assist with new client onboarding
- Collaborate with team members to support MAPs opportunities and working with the front line sales staff and Legal in the region in preparing contracts for prospects
- Become a Tools expert for the targeted geography and participating in sales demonstrations of Mercer products
- Set up MercerInsight trials and new account creations
What you need to have: - BA/BS degree required, with a concentration in business, finance, economics, operations or related discipline preferred
- 5-7 years of related work experience, preferably in investments and/or background in financial services, or as an investment analyst
- Knowledge of investments, both traditional and alternatives with preference to alternative experience
- Experience using eVestment & TopQ+ suite of software aplus
- Comfortable presenting, using web-based presentation platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.)
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office - Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal/writing skills for communications with internal and external clients
- Ability to work in teams as well as independently and flexible to work under tight deadlines
- Potential to travel after 6 months, roughly 25%

The applicable base salary range for this role is $88,200 to $132,300.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
