Full Job Description
Ready to shape investment adoption across our West Coast wealth channels?

The Opportunity

HSBC Global Asset Management (AMUS) plays a key role in enabling the Wealth-led strategy for International Wealth and Personal Banking (IWPB). This role supports the strategic IWPB-AMUS relationship by helping Wealth and Private Bank teams' position and grow AMUS solutions with Premier, High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients. You'll cover the West Coast Regions, partnering closely with intermediaries to translate market views and investment outlook into practical, client-ready conversations. Success means stronger adoption and penetration of AMUS solutions, improved client outcomes and measurable contribution to pipeline and sales performance. You'll also strengthen field capability through coaching, tools enablement and structured training. The role combines client and advisor engagement with proposal analytics, market narratives and disciplined delivery at pace.

What you'll be doing
  • Own the West Coast Regions coverage plans across in-person, telephone and virtual engagement with HSI Intermediaries
  • Translate AMUS market views and investment outlook into clear, client-ready positioning and sales narratives
  • Partner with Wealth and Private Bank teams to anticipate client objectives and objections and support end-to-end solution conversations
  • Shape holistic investment ideas to support total portfolio allocation discussions and deepen share of wallet
  • Explain and position AMUS solutions including HSBC Offshore funds, Spectrum, Managed Portfolio Allocations (MPA), SMAs/UMAs and Alternatives
  • Join advisor and client meetings to represent AMUS and articulate value, differentiation and suitability to support business closure
  • Prepare proposals, portfolio analyses, performance reporting and competitive insights using AMUS tools and profiling data
  • Deliver continuing education, structured training and market or strategy presentations at local, regional and national levels

What we're looking for
  • Bring substantial experience in wholesaling, investment sales, portfolio consulting, managed accounts distribution or a closely related wealth or asset management role
  • Demonstrate a track record of delivering net and gross sales, increasing share of wallet and influencing advisor adoption across a broad territory
  • Show experience supporting Premier, HNW and UHNW clients through intermediaries including participation in client meetings and solution presentations
  • Apply strong portfolio construction and asset allocation knowledge including diversification and risk and return trade-offs with clear client communication
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of managed solutions including Spectrum, MPA, SMAs and UMAs and how different structures are positioned
  • Apply fixed income expertise including bond pricing, yield dynamics and positioning of Treasury, corporate and municipal bond solutions to meet client objectives
  • Use tax-aware investing concepts such as direct indexing and tax-loss harvesting to support appropriate wealth client conversations
  • Hold Series SIE, 7 and 66 or Series 7, 63 and 65 (as applicable to the role and location)
  • Communicate fluently in Mandarin and Cantonese

Building West Coast Wealth Adoption

This role sits at the point where market insight becomes client action - helping intermediaries turn investment views into outcomes for Premier, HNW and UHNW clients. You'll be central to how AMUS solutions are positioned, proposed and adopted across the West Coast. If you want a role that blends client engagement, portfolio expertise and field enablement at scale this is a chance to make that impact. Apply to help strengthen the IWPB-AMUS partnership and support better investment conversations across the region.

As an HSBC employee, you will have access to tailored professional development opportunities to ensure you have the right skills for today and tomorrow. We offer a competitive pay and benefits package including a robust Wellness Hub, all in a welcoming and inclusive work environment. You will be empowered to drive HSBC's engagement with the communities we serve through an industry-leading volunteerism policy, a generous matching gift program, and a comprehensive program of immersive Sustainability and Climate Change Initiatives. You'll want to join our Employee Resource Groups as they play a central part in life at HSBC, including the development of our employees and networking inside and outside of HSBC. We value difference. We succeed together. We take responsibility. We get it done. And we want you to help us build the bank of the future!

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and several variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
