Your role
Are you ready to expand our institutional footprint across the Central and Western US States? Do you bring an established network and the ability to turn relationships into funded mandates? Can you represent us with credibility in front of CIOs, boards, and investment committees?
We're looking for a Senior Institutional Client Relationship Manager, Central And Western US States to:
• originate new institutional relationships by engaging pensions, endowments, foundations, insurers and similar allocators, delivering sustained net new asset growth
• drive mandate wins by managing opportunities from first meeting through funding with discipline and focus
• promote our strategies by articulating our investment approach in client meetings, finalist presentations and due diligence sessions
• deepen senior relationships and lead strategic engagements with CIOs, boards, and investment teams
• build a forward pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and advancing high-quality opportunities
• represent us in the market by participating in targeted conferences and relationship-driven forums
• collaborate across teams by working with portfolio managers and specialists to deliver coordinated solutions
• maintain visibility by tracking activity, pipeline, and momentum through consistent CRM usage
Your team
You'll join our Institutional Client Coverage team within UBS Asset Management in our New York, Chicago or San Francisco office. We focus on building meaningful, long-term partnerships with some of the most sophisticated investors in the market. We're a dedicated team highly focused on growing the institutional client base with an open corporate culture that values individual contribution and encourages proactive input and feedback. As a client relationship manager, you'll contribute towards delivering a consistent client experience, while providing a seamless integration of solutions.
Your expertise
• ideally 10+ years' experience in institutional investment distribution, business development, or senior client relationship management
• proven track record of originating and funding institutional mandates with measurable asset growth
• established relationships with institutional investors across the Central and Western US States
• strong knowledge of asset management products and ability to discuss portfolio construction, performance, and risk
• familiarity with engaging decision-makers such as CIOs, boards, and investment committees
• strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills with a structured and proactive approach
• willingness to travel across the territory
• appropriate licensing required (series 3, 7)
• CFA, CAIA, MBA or equivalent credentials preferred
