What is the Opportunity?

Looking for an experienced Senior Information Security Analyst to join our Access Certification Management team to operationally support the cutting-edge identity and access management services and tools, specifically the enterprise-wide SailPoint-IIQ application.

What will you do?

Operational Excellence:
  • Execute IAM operational risk controls by identifying and reporting security risks in accordance with RBC's Logical Access Security Standards (LASS).
  • Providing operational support to internal employees at all levels of management for SailPoint (i.e., Access Manager) related items.
  • Determine incident severity and escalate issues accordingly.
  • Accountable for consultation and issue resolution as first point of inquiry/escalation and problem resolution for Access Manager provisioning/procurement related activities.
  • Oversee enforcement of access review completions
  • Provide key metrics and additional statistics/insights to management and Audit in support of RBC's access controls.


Process Improvement:
  • Identify and execute on automation opportunities to streamline processes leading to efficiencies and/or delivery improvements.
  • Regular review of existing Operations procedure document to ensure all procedures are up to date.
  • Identification, tracking & documentation of escalations/gaps/trends to reduce problem re-occurrences.
  • Identify enhancement opportunities and perform QA testing on behalf of Operations for production releases.
  • Work with members of the wider IAM team to drive solutions to open problems.


What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • 3-5 years' work and/or education in IT security or a related field.
  • Proven experience with automating operational processes.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL process concepts, IT standards, methodologies, CMM & audit requirements.
  • Intermediate Excel & Tableau reporting skills.
  • Broad knowledge of the IAM domain and strong security risk mindset.
  • Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills
  • Strong Knowledge of Information Security trends and best practices

Nice-to-have
  • Sail Point: IdentityIQ (IIQ) experience
  • Professional certifications, e. g. CISSP or a related designation.
  • Strong technical understanding in a variety of hardware and software platforms.
