Job DescriptionSenior IBM Middleware Administrator / EngineerAbout the Role We are seeking a highly experienced IBM Middleware Administrator/Engineer to manage, support, and optimize enterprise middleware platforms. The role requires expertise in IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS), WebSphere Portal/HCL DX, IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW), IBM HTTP Server (IHS), IBM IAM/Tivoli, Jenkins, and Linux environments.
Responsibilities - Administer and support IBM WAS, Portal, BAW, IHS, and IAM platforms.
- Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, security hardening, and performance tuning.
- Manage application deployments, middleware releases, clustering, high availability, and production support.
- Configure SSL/TLS, LDAP/Active Directory integration, SSO, and access controls.
- Develop and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts (Jython, Shell, Python, PowerShell).
- Troubleshoot middleware, application, security, and performance issues across enterprise environments.
- Monitor system health, analyze logs, and support incident, problem, and change management processes.
Requirements - 8+ years of IBM WebSphere Application Server administration.
- Experience with IBM WebSphere Portal/HCL DX, IBM BAW, IBM IHS, and IBM IAM/Tivoli.
- Strong knowledge of LDAP, Active Directory, SSO, SSL/TLS, and certificate management.
- Experience with Jenkins, Linux/Unix administration, wsadmin/Jython scripting, and middleware automation.
- Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support experience in highly available enterprise environments.
- Preferred Skills
- WebSphere Liberty, Git, Ansible, Splunk, Dynatrace/AppDynamics.
- Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
- DevOps and CI/CD implementation experience.
EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $79,695 - 103,500
