Full Job Description
KBF is currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to be based in our Irvine, CA office.

This position will join the People Operations team ensuring the smooth daily operation of the HR department while enhancing the overall employee experience at KBF. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and excited to be part of a collaborative HR team, with the ability to work a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the HRIS system, maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality with multi-state requirements
  • Responsible for onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientations, supporting training initiatives, and compliance training
  • Participate in the benefit renewal process, manage the benefits open enrollment process and day-to-day benefits administration
  • Manage the performance management process, including the compensation tool, coach managers on performance conversations, and serve as the knowledge expert of the software system
  • Respond to HR-related inquiries, including managing leave administration, and escalate complex issues to the HR Director
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations, assist with audits and compliance, including reporting requests as needed
  • Identify opportunities and work to improve processes and create efficiencies with AI and other software systems; serve as an HR subject matter expert on firm-wide initiatives
  • Plan, collaborate, and participate in employee engagement activities in the local office and across the company.
  • May provide office administration depending on office location, which could include parking validation, supply ordering, mail, or greeting visitors
  • Partner closely with HR/Talent team and leadership throughout the company


Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required
  • Strong knowledge of HR employment laws
  • 5+ years in an HR role with experience in HRIS, ADP experience is required
  • Knowledge of Performance Management systems, learning management systems, and compensation software tools
  • Experience supporting the entire employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding and maintaining accurate HR system records
  • Working knowledge of benefits administration, leave administration with multi-state compliance
  • Experience planning employee engagement activities and culture related events
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) across all levels of the organization; ability to present in front of groups
  • Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to detail review
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and drive efficiencies within HR functions
  • Ability to exercise a high degree of professionalism when handling confidential employee information
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite with strong knowledge in using complex MS Excel workbooks/spreadsheets, and comfortable with AI tools.
  • Experience in a professional services environment is a plus.
  • Individuals must be eligible to work in the U.S.


This is a hybrid position and requires working in the office 3-4 days per week at our Irvine, CA location.

The salary range for this position reflects various factors that influence compensation decisions, such as skills, experience, training, certifications, licensure, geographic location, and other organizational requirements. At KBF Advisory, it is uncommon for a candidate to be hired at the high end of the salary range, as compensation is based on the unique qualifications and circumstances of each individual. The estimated current salary range for this role is $75,000 - $105,000.
