  • Deliver data-driven insights to inform and validate architectural decisions, including EM design rules.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP, etc.), or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in direct electromagnetic (EM) modeling using tools such as Ansys HFSS/Q3D, CST microwave studio, or cadence clarity.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP).
  • Experience in electromagnetic fields and near-field coupling mechanisms.
  • Experience in Signal Integrity and Power Integrity simulation and measurement correlation.
  • Experience in lab measurement skills, with scripting capabilities (e.g., Python, MATLAB) to drive both measurement and Electronic Design Automation (EDA) simulation automation.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard SI/PI simulation and layout ecosystems, including Ansys SIwave, Cadence (PowerSI, PowerDC, Allegro, APD), Keysight ADS, and HSPICE.


About the job
In this role, you will participate actively across all lifecycle stages of Pixel Watch product development. You will serve as the technical owner for component and system-level Electromagnetic (EM) integrity, signal and power integrity translating data into actionable architecture-level insights. You will require close collaboration with cross-functional teams to predict, debug, and optimize the hardware performance of next-generation wearable technology.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$231,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Lead comprehensive EM simulations at both the component and system levels, with a focus on passive mode extraction and overall system performance analysis.
  • Perform detailed correlation studies between simulation models and bench lab measurements to ensure and maintain high-fidelity simulation accuracy.
  • Deliver targeted simulations and DOEs (Design of Experiments) to assist cross-functional teams with EM-related debugging, root-cause analysis, and hardware optimization.
  • Conduct Pixel Watch Signal Integrity and Power Integrity (SIPI) simulations in the frequency domain, focusing on Power Delivery Network (PDN) analysis and optimization.
  • Provide data-driven analysis to actively support, guide, and validate high-level architecture decisions. Develop and define EM design rules and routing guidelines to successfully integrate next-generation sensors.
