The Opportunity

Lead the Groundwork for the Future.

As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will influence some of Western Canada's most impactful projects. From complex soil behaviour challenges to major infrastructure programs, you'll bring technical leadership, project management excellence, and deep geotechnical insight to multidisciplinary teams shaping resilient, sustainable communities.

Your Impact
  • Lead geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design for multidisciplinary infrastructure, energy, and development projects
  • Manage medium to large projects from planning and budgeting through execution and client engagement
  • Evaluate geotechnical challenges including settlement, liquefaction, slope stability, and excavation design
  • Prepare and review technical reports, design briefs, and construction documentation
  • Lead field programs and construction QA/QC activities, including site investigations and testing programs
  • Mentor junior and intermediate engineers while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions


The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical, Geological, or Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of progressive geotechnical engineering experience, including leadership roles in complex, multidisciplinary projects.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in British Columbia (or eligibility for registration).
  • Proven project management experience, including budgeting, scheduling, resource planning, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Advanced proficiency with industry-standard geotechnical software such as GeoStudio, Rocscince, or equivalent tools.
  • Valid BC driver's license.


Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 - $138,000
MB & ON: $95,000 - $130,800
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $94,100 - $124,900
