Full Job Description
We are hiring Senior Fullstack Product Engineers (React, Typescript, Node, GraphQL & MongoDB) to build emerging products and to contribute to efforts to build features used across our Product Platform; applications through this link put you into consideration for the following teams: - **Third Party Risk Management:** This product was designed to provide software buyers with tools to evaluate the security of their vendors and partners by inventorying vendors, prioritizing risks, automating security reviews and remediating findings. TPRM or Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) presents a massive opportunity for Vanta - representing a market of $5-$10B in ARR and a CAGR of 10.8% driven by secular tailwinds in the industry that requires more focussed and deeper scrutiny of the company's supply chain. - **Monetization:** This team is building an enterprise-grade revenue and entitlement platform to support our rapid upmarket expansion while streamlining the self-serve experience for all customers. Serving as the critical bridge between our core product and revenue operations, you will build resilient backend systems in our product platform that integrate seamlessly with tools like Salesforce, NetSuite, Ironclad, and Metronome. You'll tackle complex distributed systems challenges to establish Vanta's entitlement source of truth, enable customer purchasing and trial experiences, and manage usage-based billing. You will have an impact on the entire customer lifecycle, including domain provisioning and management, and work closely with Expansion to support core checkout plumbing and account management capabilities on our billing page. Your work on this scalable commercial infrastructure will directly accelerate Vanta's growth. - **Expansion:** This team focuses on the full post-activation lifecycle-driving retention, expansion, and revenue automation across the product. You'll build the core systems that power Vanta's purchasing, trial, and renewal experiences for existing clients. This includes creating seamless checkout flows, self-serve upgrade paths, and intuitive renewal pages, as well as integrating with our evolving billing infrastructure. You'll also develop the platform that enables "try before you buy" experiences across Vanta, giving prospects hands-on access and empowering other product teams to plug into a unified trials framework. - **Collaboration:** On the Collaboration team, you will contribute to building components and APIs that make it more efficient for Vanta users to complete GRC and Trust management tasks. We believe in building these components and APIs in a way that makes them easy to adopt by other engineering teams within Vanta. **Customer Trust Automation:** This team is responsible for delivering experiences that reduce sales friction, automate inbound customer security assessments, and foster durable, high-trust relationships - through products including the Trust Center, Questionnaire Automation, and emerging agentic experiences. Visit our Vanta Engineering Blog to learn more about what our team is working on! **What you'll do as a Senior Software Engineer at Vanta:** - Lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders and engineers to accelerate our roadmap and land impact faster. - Collaborate with other teams and engineers across Vanta on cross-cutting engineering initiatives or on building common product primitives. - Mentor engineers up to your own level; assigning them tasks and helping them develop their skills over the course of each project. - Make effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation. **How to be successful in this role:** - 5+ years of full stack experience with an emphasis on backend skills. - Experience leading small teams of engineers to deliver impactful projects. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Experience building user-facing SaaS products over multiple years, ideally both for startups and enterprise users. - Experience building 0→1 products as well as solving tough engineering problems- especially in environments that prioritize bias for action. - Experience with TypeScript is a plus- our stack is React, TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL & MongoDB. - Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact. **What you can expect as a Vanta'n in Canada:** - Industry-competitive salary and equity - 100% covered medical, dental, and vision benefits with dependents coverage - Pension contribution - 16 weeks fully paid Parental Leave for all new parents - Health & wellness stipend - Remote workspace, internet, and cellphone stipend - Flexible work hours and location - 21 days of Vacation Time and 80 hours of Sick Leave - 11 company-paid holidays - Virtual team building activities, lunch and learns, and other company-wide events! - Offices in SF, NYC, London, Dublin, Tel Aviv, and Sydney #LI-remote **Referral Instructions** If you are being referred for the role, please contact that person to apply on your behalf.
