Full Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will design, develop, test, implement, and support software solutions throughout the application lifecycle. You will collaborate with teammates to deliver application enhancements, develop and maintain database solutions, contribute to application modernization efforts, remediate application vulnerabilities, and support production issues and releases. You will also research technical issues, evaluate alternative solutions, and apply sound engineering practices to deliver secure, reliable, and high-quality software while continuing to expand your technical expertise.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

This Senior Full Stack Software Engineer role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Build and support full-stack applications using Microsoft .NET or Spring technologies, MVC architecture, Angular SPA, and RESTful APIs.

  • Develop and maintain application components, including user interfaces, APIs, business logic, and database solutions.

  • Analyze business requirements and implement application and database enhancements that support evolving business processes.

  • Support application deployments and production releases using modern CI/CD practices.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and provide production support for a portfolio of 16+ business-critical applications.

  • Identify, prioritize, and remediate application vulnerabilities by updating code, libraries, dependencies, and configuration.

  • Research technical issues, evaluate solution alternatives, and recommend practical solutions to application and production challenges.

  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity while maintaining human oversight and code quality.

  • Support applications serving internal Single-Family business users, including customer-facing portals.

  • Contribute to application modernization efforts by enhancing legacy applications, adopting modern development practices, and developing new web-based solutions.

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences:

  • At least 2 years of relevant software engineering experience

  • Experience developing full-stack web applications.

  • Experience with Microsoft .NET/C# or Java/Spring.

  • Experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Experience developing and maintaining relational database solutions, including writing SQL and working with database objects such as tables, views, and stored procedures.

  • Experience using Git-based source control and working with CI/CD pipelines.

  • Knowledge of secure software development practices and vulnerability remediation.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated curiosity and adaptability in learning and responsibly applying emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, to reimagine how we work.

Desired Experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience working in Agile software development environments.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.

  • Familiarity with vulnerability management, dependency upgrades, and application security best practices.

  • Experience using AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or similar) while applying sound engineering judgment.

  • Financial services or mortgage industry experience, particularly supporting Single-Family business applications, is a plus.

  • Experience working with internal and external-facing web portals serving business partners and customers.

Target Pay Range: $123,000.00 - 161,000.00 a year
