• Contribute to concept development, architecture refinement, and software design aligned with the organization’s strategic technology objectives.
• Develop scalable, high-performance applications with strong observability to ensure reliability and operational efficiency.
• Deliver high-quality, customer-focused software that enables exceptional user experience.
• Architect solutions using diverse technologies and data stores applying event-driven patterns and evaluating tradeoffs to recommend optimal approaches.
• Act as a hands-on contributor within Agile development teams; support design, development, deployment, and maintenance activities.
• Lead and support proof-of-concept initiatives for new tools, technologies, and frameworks, fostering innovation and experimentation.
• Build and deliver cloud-native solutions, including REST APIs and microservices architectures, designed to scale with evolving business needs.
• Maintain deep involvement in implementation to ensure technical excellence and alignment with design objectives.
• Identify design challenges and deliver effective, scalable solutions while making informed user experience and functionality decisions.
• Drive transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts to enhance processes and promote a culture of innovation.
• Participate in collaborative concept definition, architectural refinement, software design, and realization of products that support the strategic technology needs of the organization.
• Build scalable, high-performance applications with strong observability, ensuring systems are reliable and efficient.
• Function as a hands-on member of a development team, and guide the team in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining processes using Agile methodologies.
• Design and conduct proof of concepts for new software tools, technologies, and frameworks, encouraging creative problem-solving and experimentation.
• Maintain deep levels of involvement in the implementation process.

Key Responsibilities & Experience

• Analyze project documentation to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Gather and refine project requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
• Assess and estimate development timelines and deliverables
• Develop and implement code using Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI) practices
• Design and develop scalable applications using modern technologies, including Go, React, TypeScript, .NET, and Python
• Manage and optimize large-scale datasets, with a focus on performance and efficiency
• Utilize caching strategies and work with distributed, relational, NoSQL, and vector databases
• Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS
• Employ Git, GitHub, and GitLab for source control, collaboration, and peer code reviews

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• 8+ years in a full-stack hands on engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience developing and implementing AI-driven services
• Demonstrated experience working in a startup environment
• Proven experience operating within Agile development environments
• Strong background in cloud-native solutions, REST APIs, and microservices architecture

Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and development
• Ability to independently manage development efforts while collaborating across cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with strong attention to detail
• Experience partnering with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities, including issue triage, root cause analysis, and solution implementation

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field

 

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 130,200 - 217,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
