Description

IgniteAction is seeking an experienced Senior Level Developer to design and build scalable, high-quality software and data solutions in support of a mission critical application. The ideal candidate has experience with modern frontend frameworks and backend development. This role requires a strong focus on clean code, API design, performance optimization, and collaborative code reviews.

The Core Technical Capabilities:
  • Python Application Development

Strong Python skills for AWS Lambda functions, workflow logic, integrations, data validation, error handling, testing, and reusable service components.
  • Amazon Connect and Contact Center Architecture

Experience configuring Amazon Connect instances, contact flows, queues, routing profiles, prompts, hours of operation, agent workspaces, tasks, chat, and IVR capabilities.
  • REST APIs and Systems Integration

Fluency designing and consuming REST APIs, including HTTP methods, status codes, authentication, pagination, retries, timeouts, idempotency, and API versioning.
  • JSON and Data Transformation

Strong understanding of JSON schemas, nested payloads, serialization, validation, field mapping, JSONPath, and transformations
  • AWS Serverless and Event-Driven Services

Hands-on experience with Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, and Secrets Manager.
  • Security, DevOps, and Operational Support

Knowledge of least-privilege IAM, encryption, sensitive-data handling, audit logging, CloudWatch monitoring, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, troubleshooting, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Feature Architecture: Designing small-to-medium systems, including scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows
  • Code Quality: Writing clean, testable code, conduct peer code reviews to help keep the codebase sane.
  • API: Foundational understanding of RESTful or GraphQL APIs that are intuitive for other team members to use.
  • Performance: Identifying and fixing bottlenecks, from slow SQL queries to bloated frontend bundles and inefficient data pipelines
  • Data Engineering: Build, maintain, and optimize ETL processes and end-to-end data pipelines
