Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Senior to join our Financial Reporting team. The Role
The Senior of Financial Reporting will support the preparation of monthly internal management reporting as well as quarterly and annual financial reporting, including but not limited to, filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statement, etc.), standalone audit reports, and census reporting. A successful candidate for this role will have strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills, and organizational skills with the ability to follow projects through to completion with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare consolidated balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, and footnotes in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Assist with internal reporting activities, including preparation of the monthly CFO reporting package and related analysis
• Prepare consolidating and intercompany elimination journal entries and assist in maintenance of chart of accounts
• Monitor, analyze, and review data loaded into Hyperion
• Review financial and other information submitted by divisions for financial reporting
• Review debt covenant calculations
• Develop process improvements and increase efficiencies in the Company's consolidation and reporting procedures
• Support the preparation and review of quarterly earnings releases and related materials
• Prepare standalone entity financial statements and footnotes
• Perform review of XBRL tagging to ensure reporting requirements are met
• Prepare support to be provided to external auditors
• Participate in special projects and accounting research as needed
• Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values
Qualifications:
Experience Required:
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting and/or public accounting; ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of public accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience Preferred:
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• SEC and U.S. GAAP financial reporting experience
• Financial ERP / Reporting system knowledge (Hyperion preferred)
• Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint

The salary range for this position is $78,500 - $100,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards, an annual bonus, monthly or quarterly incentives, etc.
The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level, and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
