Plaid's Corporate Finance team leads company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and reporting, delivering strategic insights to internal and external stakeholders. We align financial goals with business objectives to support informed decision-making at the senior leadership and executive levels.

What excites us:
  • 5+ years of relevant FP&A experience, ideally in Corporate Finance, G&A support, or a broader FP&A role, with a track record of increasing scope and responsibility.
  • "Act like an owner" mindset with end-to-end accountability, proactivity, independence, and comfort in a high-autonomy environment.
  • Deep understanding of core FP&A processes, including month-end close, reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, annual planning, financial storytelling, and relevant technical accounting principles.
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, including experience with consolidation and operational models, paired with the judgment to dive into the details, analyze, and then step back to assess the bigger picture.
  • Strong business partnership skills, with excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to interface with senior leaders with ease.
  • AI, automation, and process-improvement mindset, with familiarity using FP&A systems such as Pigment, Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar tools to build scalable and efficient workflows.

What excites you:
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you can learn quickly across multiple areas.
  • You are energized by stretching beyond your defined scope, being scrappy, and taking on new challenges.
  • You enjoy improving processes, automating workflows, and helping teams scale for long-term success.
  • You want to be a strategic partner to senior leaders by providing insights that shape decisions.
  • You enjoy advancing the business through thoughtful analysis, strong partnership, and clear financial insights that support better decision-making.
  • You enjoy collaborating across Finance, Accounting, and business teams.
  • You are excited to help shape how FP&A uses Pigment at Plaid, learning how to build in the system while also partnering with the systems lead on new cases, board design, and workflows that help FP&A scale.

Our mission at Plaid is to unlock financial freedom for everyone. To support that mission, we seek to build a diverse team of driven individuals who care deeply about making the financial ecosystem more equitable. We recognize that strong qualifications can come from both prior work experiences and lived experiences. We encourage you to apply to a role even if your experience doesn't fully match the job description. We are always looking for team members that will bring something unique to Plaid!
