Description

MaineHealth Corporate

Clerical/Administrative Support
Req #: 85860

Are you a numbers person who also enjoys helping people understand what the numbers actually mean? MaineHealth's Coastal Region is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in a fully remote role.

You'll partner with leaders across the region to help them understand their financial performance, build and manage operating budgets, analyze variances, and identify trends and opportunities. Rather than simply producing reports, you'll help turn financial information into practical insights leaders can use to make better decisions. We're looking for someone with at least 3 years of accounting or financial analysis experience who is comfortable working independently, digging into the details, and building strong relationships with the teams they support.

If you enjoy working with numbers, solving problems, and being the financial go-to person leaders can count on, this could be a great opportunity to bring your experience to MaineHealth - all while working remotely.

Summary:
The position is responsible for supporting and assuring accurate preparation of division operating budgets, serving as the financial consultant for operational departments and Service Lines, and leads ongoing variance and financial reporting.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelors' Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  2. Experience: 3 years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience preferred. Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred.
