  • Coordinate with clinic and program leaders to align initiatives with plans and forecasts
  • Track financial performance against plans and communicate results to stakeholders
  • Conduct ad-hoc reports and analyses as assigned

Full Job Description
This is a hybrid position based out of our 243 Consumers Rd location in North York, with 4 days in office and 1 day remote.

We are seeking a highly-skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team and play a key role in driving accurate financial reporting and strategic financial planning.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance, the Senior Analyst, Finance will assist in performing analyses to generate relevant and actionable insights supported by data, focused on supporting business decisions and financial controls. They will utilize various reporting tools and will liaise with various stakeholders to forecast, plan, and analyze results to ensure the delivery of accurate financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and quality period-end Management reporting and provide variance analyses against forecast, plan and prior year for Senior Management, Operations and Clinics
  • Prepare and take ownership of month-end close journal entries and process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (within and outside of Finance) to address any discrepancies and streamline reporting processes, as well as to gather relevant data and insights for financial analysis.
  • Analyze/model new revenue and expense initiatives and quantify the financial impact to aid in decision making within the organization.
  • Work closely with clinic and program leaders to ensure that initiatives are properly built in the plan and forecasts.
  • Track results against plan, forecast and prior year, and communicate performance to business partners.
  • Adhoc reports, analyses and other duties as assigned


Skills and Experience:
  • 3 to 5 years experience working in finance
  • Post-Secondary Education in Business, Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field
  • Strong attention to detail and an appreciation and acumen for having detailed checks and balances in place
  • Must be able to provide sound analysis and comparisons with some guidance
  • Adaptive and ability to prioritize work
  • Strong sense of ownership to meet commitments and deadlines
  • Communicates with clarity; verbally and written
  • Demonstrates strong business acumen, career driven and keen to learn and contribute
  • Advanced computer skills in Excel; working knowledge of Power BI and macros an asset
  • Working towards CPA, CFA, or similar finance/accounting designation is considered an asset
