We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic
Senior Financial Analyst to support our Research & Development Operations. This role will be responsible for financial analysis, accounting support, reporting, and process improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze financial and operational results within project accounting and manufacturing accounting systems.
- Oversee accounting system usage, requirements, and administrative controls.
- Manage month-end close and reporting activities, including invoicing, labor reporting, account reconciliations, and coordination of closing entries with internal locations.
- Maintain ownership of inventory accounting and standard costing updates.
- Support capital appropriation processes and fixed asset accounting.
- Extract data and develop reports to support business needs.
- Perform financial analysis and process development for special projects as needed.
- Support annual and quarterly corporate tax reporting.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley internal control requirements.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, preferably with a concentration in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 3 years of financial experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employment eligibility verification will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- MBA is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Experience querying databases.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Cost accounting experience preferred.
