Full Job Description
This role is responsible for the more complex activities associated with maintaining stock ledger and inventory operations relating to the Digital business. Individual will provide functional advice, reporting support and/or training to less experienced accountants as well as partner with the Distribution Center management team and other key stakeholders to identify inventory process gaps/opportunities and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Distribution Center and various cross-functional stakeholders to identify inventory issues/risks/opportunities and work towards achieving shared goals
  • Monthly forecasting, reporting and analysis related to inventory related margin accounts
  • Identify areas of opportunity and recommend solutions for achieving optimal efficiencies, timeliness and accuracy of reporting
  • Perform financial and operational analysis combined with relevant business knowledge to help influence decision making
  • Provide functional advice and training to less experienced accountants
  • Expertise and knowledge of the multiple integrated systems (Warehouse Management, Stock Ledger, Order Management, General Ledger, Planning, and Website functionality) and understanding of how changes within the business can impact the systems
  • Support Digital impacted projects, including new technology releases and enhancements by identifying inventory specific business requirements, testing and reporting
  • Review and provide support for journal entries, account reconciliations and SOX controls

Your Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance with experience related to Inventory Management a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, MBA/CPA or other advanced degree/certification a plus
  • Advanced Excel proficiency required, as well as functional knowledge of other Microsoft products.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Snowflake or SQL a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
