Blue National Security business unit.
As a
Senior Financial Analyst, you will deliver critical analysis and insight, drive performance improvement, and own product cost, proposal support, and financial metrics for the business unit. Partnering closely with business unit leadership, you will help build a best-in-class finance function with the right people, processes, and tools to scale with program growth.
As a key member of the Blue National Security Finance Leadership team, you will lead initiatives that improve the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of insights delivered to senior and executive leadership. We are seeking someone who applies technical expertise, strong leadership, and a commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight.

Responsibilities:- Lead financial analysis for internal executive memos, delivering clear and consistent insights to senior leadership
- Provide accurate, timely financial information and recommendations to support business execution
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Lead standardization of programmatic and financial metrics across the business unit, including early indicators of performance issues
- Own root cause analysis and recovery planning for off-track metrics
- Drive product cost standardization and partner with program and finance teams to identify cost reduction opportunities across product lines.
- Support financial analysis for external and internal proposals, including authoring executive-level memos
- Collaborate across the business to deliver meaningful insights to business unit leadership
- Partner with multiple stakeholders as a strategic, results-oriented collaborator capable of managing large-scale projects and reprioritizing as needed
- Build and continuously improve financial models incorporating industry-specific operating metrics, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis
- Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related analytical field
- 8+ years of professional finance experience
- Strong analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills with advanced Excel financial modeling expertise
- Experience leading project teams
- Experience with ERP tools, financial/operational databases, and accounting software
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to earn trust, build professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications:- MBA or Master's Degree in a related field
- Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and lead development of complex data models and reporting
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or technology organizations
Base Pay Range for:
CO applicants is $114,455.00 - $160,236.30WA applicants is $124,476.00 - $174,265.35
