Fair Cadora, APC is seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Paralegal to join our growing family law practice in San Diego. This is a full-time on-site position with full benefits including a 4-day, 32-hour workweek with full pay.
COMPENSATION$40-50 per hour, with compensation based on a full-time 40-hour workweek while working a 32-hour, 4-day schedule. Day off to be either Monday or Friday, dependent on the needs of the Firm.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FORWe are looking for a highly capable, organized, and client-focused senior paralegal who is comfortable taking ownership of a substantial family law caseload and working independently while collaborating closely with attorneys and other team members.
Required Qualifications- Paralegal certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in family law
- Strong working knowledge of California family law procedures and court rules
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases, deadlines, and competing priorities
- Experience preparing and filing complex family law pleadings and documents
- Strong understanding of discovery, financial disclosures, and litigation procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients experiencing highly emotional and stressful circumstances
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
- Proficiency with legal technology, case management software, e-filing systems, and Microsoft Office

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Independently manage family law case initiation through final judgment, ensuring compliance with court rules, procedural requirements, and all filing and litigation deadlines.
- Prepare and file complex legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, financial disclosures, declarations, Requests for Orders (RFOs), Marital Settlement Agreements, Judgments, and other family law documents, while maintaining accuracy and compliance with California law.
- Coordinate all aspects of litigation and trial preparation, including calendaring, e-filing, service of process, document management, mediation and hearing preparation, trial notebooks, exhibits, and attorney support throughout the litigation process.
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients and case stakeholders, maintaining consistent communication, gathering and analyzing financial and case-related documents, and supporting attorneys with case strategy and settlement preparation.
- Provide leadership and operational support by mentoring junior paralegals and legal assistants, improving workflows, maintaining case management systems, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services and exceptional client care.
