Full Job Description
Control Risks is looking for a Senior Executive Protection Analyst to support a major technology client within its Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). This role combines protective intelligence and executive protection monitoring with shift-level leadership responsibilities. The Senior Analyst will oversee the security and safety of the client's global executive population, including C-Suite leaders during travel, while providing operational direction, quality control, incident leadership, and guidance to other analysts.
  • Provide direct monitoring and protective intelligence support for the client's executive population, including C-Suite executives based globally and traveling internationally.
  • Serve as the senior point of contact during the assigned shift, providing direction to analysts and ensuring monitoring, reporting, and response activities are completed efficiently and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Identify, assess, and communicate threats to executives and personnel using OSINT, social media monitoring, investigative platforms, and security intelligence tools.
  • Develop and review executive-focused threat, travel, city, venue, and event risk assessments, and lead live monitoring for executive movements and high-profile events as required.
  • Lead the real-time assessment of incidents affecting executives, coordinate the appropriate response with internal and external stakeholders, and escalate critical matters in a timely manner.
  • Maintain continuity of operations through effective shift handovers, clear documentation, and the accurate transfer of executive protection and threat information.
  • Proofread, vet, and quality-control intelligence reports, alerts, incident documentation, and other GSOC products before dissemination.
  • Liaise with executive protection, corporate security, travel security, emergency management, human resources, and other relevant stakeholders on global risk events and incidents.
  • Provide training, guidance, coaching, and operational support to analysts, including leading drills and reinforcing established procedures.
  • Identify process gaps and operational risks, recommend improvements, and support the development and refinement of protective intelligence protocols, escalation procedures, and response plans.
  • Participate in hiring processes, collaborate with Talent Acquisition, and ensure team alignment with client expectations.
  • Manage team schedules, approve PTO, ensure timesheet compliance, and maintain service continuity.
  • Perform the full responsibilities of an Executive Protection Analyst as needed to maintain coverage and service quality.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in a GSOC, protective intelligence, executive protection, security operations, or a comparable corporate security environment; prior lead or supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience monitoring threats to executives, conducting travel or event risk assessments, and supporting executive protection operations.
  • Proficiency in global risk event monitoring, OSINT and social media research, investigative platforms, incident management, and security monitoring and reporting tools.
  • Ability to lead shift operations, prioritize competing requirements, provide clear direction, and make sound decisions during high-pressure or time-sensitive incidents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief stakeholders at all levels and produce clear, accurate, and actionable intelligence products.
  • Experience reviewing and quality-controlling analytical products, incident reports, and operational handovers.
  • Ability to train, coach, and support analysts, including facilitating drills and reinforcing standard operating procedures.
  • Strong judgment, discretion, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive executive and security information appropriately.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts, based on operational requirements.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-89,000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
