Full Job Description
The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex ETL operation using Python , Abinitio applications for processing large datasets, leveraging expertise in distributed computing and data manipulation.
  • Partner with management teams to seamlessly integrate ETL Java Integration Framework & Spark-based solutions into existing data infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and efficient data flow.
  • Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
  • Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
  • Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
  • Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Recommended Qualifications:
  • 6-10 years of extensive professional experience in ETL & Oracle PL SQL program development using Python/Abinitio ETL technologies and Oracle as database.
  • Proven experience with Abinito for large-scale data processing and distributed computing.
  • Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience with Unix and Oracle DB
  • Strong understanding of data architecture principles and data infrastructure.
  • 7+ Year Oracle PL/SQL or SQL experience
  • 6-10+ Year ETL Experience (Abinitio, Python ). Hands on experience in developing complex ETL applications.
  • Proficiency with Oracle PL/SQL or SQL, SQL tuning, writing packages, triggers, functions and procedures.
  • Expert in UNIX knowledge
  • Experience with data conversion / migration
  • Excellent trouble shooting and debugging skills.
  • Experience with developing and maintaining coding standards, testing, and debugging for complex applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with experience partnering with various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment, data security, performance optimization, and scalability considerations.


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ETL Abinitio Database automation Engineer - Tech Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable data processing solutions using Core Java, Sprint Integration Framework, Apache Spark ,etc. You will play a crucial part in integrating these solutions into our existing data infrastructure, addressing complex data challenges, and providing technical leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of distributed computing, data manipulation techniques, and a commitment to best practices in software development and data governance. This will involve working closely with the business and SMEs to prioritize business requests, manage the ETL development work slate, provide estimate efforts, and ensure timely delivery on committed items and to project manage all aspects of software development according to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
