Full Job Description
The Position

Arrowhead is seeking a Senior Manager, ERP Finance Systems to join its IS&I organization at our Pasadena, CA, San Diego, CA, or Madison, WI sites. This role leads the delivery and continuous improvement of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) capabilities across Finance, Procurement, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Fixed Assets, Project Management Accounting, and Cost Management.

At the Senior Manager level, this individual operates with significant autonomy, serves as the primary IT liaison to Finance and related business functions, and oversees work that may be performed by other team members. They bring deep platform expertise while expanding their focus to include team delivery, vendor governance, process ownership, and stakeholder alignment with executive level business partners. The ideal candidate combines hands-on D365 F&O knowledge with the leadership capability to develop team members, own outcomes end-to-end, and proactively shape how ERP capabilities serve the business.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Delivery
  • Own end-to-end delivery across ERP Finance workstreams; ensure the team operates with quality, reliability, and adherence to change control and release management standards
  • Drive process improvement and operational efficiency within the ERP Finance domain, not just execute existing processes
  • Manage project scope, timelines, and resources across concurrent workstreams with limited oversight from above

Stakeholder & Business Partnering
  • Serve as the primary IS&I point of contact for Finance and related business functions; build trusted advisor relationships at all levels and especially at the executive level.
  • Translate business requirements into functional ERP solutions; facilitate design sessions and solution reviews with business stakeholders independently
  • Monitor and communicate emerging Dynamics 365 F&O capabilities, AI advancements, and Microsoft roadmap updates to key business partners with a clear point of view on relevance and impact
  • Represent IS&I in cross-functional forums and project steering committees; drive alignment without requiring manager escalation

Domain & Technical Expertise
  • Maintain deep subject matter expertise across Dynamics 365 F&O Finance modules including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Project Management Accounting, Cost Management, and Procurement & Sourcing
  • Lead architecture and design decisions for new functionality, system integrations, and third-party solutions; ensure designs leverage D365 out-of-the-box capability, Power Platform tools, and best practices
  • Serve as primary liaison to third-party vendors for solution integration, evaluation, and ongoing partnership governance
  • Provide domain expertise in D365 data modeling; design and oversee Power BI reporting solutions to support Finance operations and decision-making
  • Identify software gaps, propose scalable solutions, and ensure the platform roadmap remains aligned to business priorities

Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure team adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), 21 CFR Part 11, and Computer Software Assurance (CSA) processes
  • Own compliance posture within the ERP Finance domain; proactively identify risk and drive remediation before issues escalate
  • Support internal and external audit activities; serve as the IT subject matter expert for ERP Finance during SOX audit cycles

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of hands-on Dynamics 365 F&O functional experience, with demonstrated depth across Finance modules
  • Proven experience leading a team or workstream; comfortable with performance management, feedback, and developing others
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party integrations end-to-end
  • Working knowledge of Agile principles and release management practices
  • Experience with Power BI and the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and SK Global Treasury Automation Suite
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to present and drive alignment with Director-level business partners independently

Preferred
  • Prior consulting experience in ERP Finance implementations
  • SOX audit experience in a hands-on IT or functional capacity
  • Life Sciences or Pharma industry background; familiarity with GxP environments
  • 21 CFR Part 11 compliance experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot for D365 and M365
  • Power Platform toolset development experience


Wisconsin pay range

$140,000-$180,000 USD

California pay range

$160,000-$200,000 USD
