Your ProfileQualifications and skills to help you succeed
- This role is common in automotive electronics, semiconductors, or Tier-1suppliers. It combines hardware knowledge (Ethernet PHY/Switch) with software expertise (drivers, protocol stacks, and system integration) to support customers implementing Automotive Ethernet (e.g., 100BASE-T1,1000BASE-T1, TSN/AVB) in next-generation vehicles.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for Automotive Ethernet products and solutions, including technical presentations, demonstrations, documentation, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and customize automotive software solutions based on customer requirements (e.g., Ethernet drivers for switch, PHY, MAC, SerDes, PCS modules).
- Support customers with product development, design-in, system integration, validation, and certification testing.
- Analyze and resolve customer technical issues; provide on-site debugging and support when needed.
- Collaborate with internal R&D, sales, marketing, and product teams to align on customer needs and drive business objectives.
- Create technical collateral (application notes, reference designs, training materials) and conduct customer training.
- Stay updated on Automotive Ethernet standards, protocols (SOME/IP,TCP/IP, UDP, gPTP/TSN/AVB, MKA/MACsec, 802.1CB/802.3DM/802.1DG), and industry trends (SDV, Zonal Architecture).
In the United States, it is required to disclose a salary range to applicants. The Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate in the United States is: San Jose, CA - Minimum of $106,900 Salary per year/ Maximum of $147,000 Salary per year
