Description & Requirements

core responsibilities

Promote platform level change, drive continuous improvement and security, and perform on-call support and security functions. Act as a technical owner of production systems, in order deliver products and optimize them for efficiency, security, and reliability. Develop plans to contribute for product roadmaps and reliability strategy. Partner with project management to deliver status and performance updates. Conduct research to aid in product development and tools selection. Provide an escalation point and participate in on-call support rotations. Monitor key metrics, reports on trends, and make improvement recommendations. Facilitate an Engineering Community of Practice for products. Contribute to engineering automation, management or development of production level systems. Review product roadmaps and guide intake acceptance for a set of production systems. Own reliability for a defined set of production systems. Own the delivery lifecycle for a defined set of production systems.

Telecommuting permitted 100% - may live anywhere in the U.S.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

qualifications

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Architecture or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate work experience in Information Technology.

Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in SailPoint IIQ subject matter relative to technical integration and development.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in all of the following (which may be gained concurrently):
  • Apache Tomcat,WebSphereand JBOSS;
  • C, C++, Java, Bean Shell, HTML and XML;
  • Creating SQL statements and sub-queries in RDBMS, including Oracle and My SQL;
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in all of the following:
  • Working with Linux and Solaris;
  • CI/CD principles and best practices;
  • Configuring workflows and integration for Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) events;
  • Working with bug tracking and task management software, including Jira and Service Now.

The typical hiring range for this position in Washington is from $200,369 - $218,500 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
