Description
  • Extensive experience in kernel and low-level systems engineering.
  • Kernel Expertise: Deep engineering background working with the Linux kernel (v6.x) and ARM64 architecture internals. System
  • Programming: Mastery of C, assembly, and low-level OS integrations.
  • Virtualization & Security: Deep experience with KVM and QEMU (specifically ARM-on-ARM nested virtualization), plus TPM 2.0 / vTPM integration.
  • Debugging & Tools: Hands-on experience with cross-compilation toolchains, low-level debuggers (GDB, JTAG, trace tools), and bare-metal lab host bring-up.

Requirements
  • Set up cross-compilation build pipelines (MBS / Jenkins) for building QEMU, Linux, and kernel modules.
  • Debug complex hardware-software integration issues directly on physical ARM bare-metal lab machines.

Job responsibilities
  • Configure, patch, and build the Linux kernel and QEMU for optimal security and performance on ARM hardware.
  • Migrate and rebase existing x86 custom kernel patches to support the new ARM Debian build.
  • Implement and test TPM 2.0 measured boot protocols and vTPM virtualization integrations.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
