Full Job Description
Position Location: This role is hybrid remote/in-office and supports our Buffalo Grove, IL branch location, which serves customers throughout the greater Chicago, IL area.

The successful candidate will be leading a team of electrical engineers, providing work direction and mentorship, in addition to electrical engineering development work.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, Team Lead, you will:
  • Lead and mentor team members in all aspects of the electrical product development processes.
  • Complete the product development process from concepts to final production release in our on-site factory
  • Align resources against varied tasks; new product development, customer support, procurement support, factory support.
  • Provide day-to-day work direction and technical support as needed

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of electrical hardware development experience
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Familiarity with commercial HVAC control components; controllers, actuators, sensors
  • Proven track record of managing development teams
  • Ability to use personal computers and software tools, working knowledge of PCB development tool sets, business software, PLM and ERP toolsets
  • 5% travel may be required
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:
  • BSEE
  • Working knowledge of Siemens Xpedition PCB development tool set
  • Working knowledge of Siemens TeamCenter, SAP and IBM Jazz
  • Experience in EMC testing, prototype build and test, and other hands-on environments

The pay range for this position is $92,320 - $158,263 annually with a target incentive of 8% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
