About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and deliver impactful water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role joins our established team of electrical engineers, designers, programmers, and I&C professionals across the Pacific Northwest.

Our Electrical team is part of the Water Division, with a strong and growing presence in Puyallup, Seattle, and Spokane, Washington, as well as Portland, Oregon. This position offers a flexible hybrid schedule, and we welcome candidate preference for their ideal Parametrix office location.

Your Role on the Team:
  • Lead electrical engineering design for municipal and/or industrial water and wastewater collection, distribution, and treatment facility projects.
  • Partner in business development and client management efforts, serving in a client-facing role with direct engagement and relationship-building responsibilities.
  • Foster a strong team environment, supporting collaboration, mentorship, and connection within the electrical team and broader Water Division.

What You Bring to the Team:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Professional Engineer (PE) license, and 10+ years of consulting experience.
  • Industrial power experience, including 480V power distribution, motor control (including VFDs), standby generators, National Electrical Code (NEC) compliance, and classified spaces and lighting.
  • Technical expertise in PLCs, SCADA systems, industrial control networks, wired/wireless telemetry, relay control logic, and process instrumentation.
  • Experience serving municipal and/or industrial water and wastewater clients.

Salary Range

$150,000-$195,000 USD

Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. We value transparency and look forward to discussing our compensation structure.
