Full Job Description
Our West Geography is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team in our Los Angeles or San Francisco office. We use the latest design technologies and analytic methods to deliver projects. Sustainability, carbon reduction, and resilience are key features of our projects. We are looking for a Senior Engineer who will take the lead in design and construction for a wide range of Data Center Projects. The opportunity • Lead the design of electrical systems on medium to large-scale complex projects (data center) • Mentor and supervise junior staff and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams maximizing your experience at the local, regional, and global levels. • Prepare and review construction documents, drawings and specifications. • Present technical material in traditional and innovative ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences. • Lead projects and work closely with project managers to deliver quality work • Connect solutions/ideas to bigger picture project goals. • Client facing with Owner, Architect and Contractor. Is this role right for you? • Bachelor's degree in electrical or architectural engineering • Minimum 6 years of experience designing electrical systems for buildings or infrastructure projects. • Ability to lead the electrical discipline as lead electrical designer for projects with good organization skills • Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working. • Ability to present technical material for review by technical and non-technical audiences • Experience with 3D BIM software - preferably Revit MEP • Experience with power system modeling using SKM or similar software. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary.
