Full Job Description
The Senior Network Administrator is responsible for the planning, implementation, operation and maintenance of all end client systems, servers and network infrastructure as well as all telecommunication systems within Agricorp.In this role you will:

  • Responsible to support for broader long-term results within the network systems and servers by ensuring the availability and integrity of desktops and networks across Agricorp
  • Provides complex network support and resolution
  • Maintains existing network infrastructure; including network and desktop software upgrades, patch management and troubleshooting. Conducts system back-ups and testing
  • Provides timely support to Network Administrator and Help Desk teams with software/hardware related solutions and client data restorations
  • Collaborates with database administrators, mainframe operator, and security administrator to determine server security needs for end users
  • Provide support for enterprise telephony infrastructure
  • Management of software licenses and renewals
  • Assists in disaster recovery preparations and tests
  • Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with all levels of staff and management within the division, across Agricorp, demonstrating core qualities while representing the CNS team
  • Resolves inquiries or requests from internal/external parties with a view to demonstrate service excellence in order to mitigate interruptions of service/systems
  • Participates in the 'on-call' service to ensure ongoing, 24-hours customer support

Salary: $73,912/year - $86,955/year

Qualifications

  • 3-year college diploma with a focus on IT technology
  • Proven experience with end desktops, servers, and networked computing environments is required
  • 5 - 7 years of technical experience in computer networking
  • 3-5 years customer service experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft Active Directory; Microsoft Outlook; networking switches and devices; SAN architecture, HP Servers and Windows 2008-12 platforms, Virtualization -Hyper V & VMWare.
