Role: Senior .Net Application Developer
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Duration: 8-9 months+
Interview: onsite or skype for non-locals
Interview Process: There will be a 1-hour coding test before a Skype interview. It is timed and they don't have to finish, just need to be able to show solid OO programming skills.
Scope: The Sr. Application Developer will develop a C# based Web APIs supporting an Angular application. The developer will be responsible to deploy backend web applications, including all aspects of server-side processing, data storage, and integration with frontend development.
Top skills: - WEB API Development; 2+ years of experience developing Web API RESTful services
- Strong Object-Oriented development skills
- C#.Net development experience
- Solid SQL Server Database
Preferred skills: - Prior experience working a Cloud environment preferably Microsoft Azure, Angular development, JavaScript development, and Swagger
What You Can Expect: - Has strong technical knowledge of all phases of server-side web development.
- Able to interface with client management personnel and provide thought leadership or best-practices in server-side web development.
- Ensures design promotes modularity, portability, privacy, and security.
- Retrieves and utilizes information from the system and other data sources as required and manages the development and implementation of data access functionality.
- Is comfortable completing Peer Code Reviews.
- Formulates/defines system scope and objectives for assigned features.
- Can quickly gain a good understanding of the business or function for which applications is designed.
- Responsible for program design, coding, unit testing, debugging and documentation.
- Must demonstrate a commitment to the team and to the work committed to.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work independently or under only general direction.
Requirements: - 3-5 years of web development experience using .NET
- Working in team environments that use agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Lean)
- Authoring developer-friendly documentation (e.g., API documentation, deployment operations)
- Test-driven development
- Use of version control systems, specifically Git
