The Opportunity

The Senior Disputes Insights & Reporting Analyst will be responsible for support and deliver all aspects of data, reporting, and analytics. Incumbent will develop, update, and standardize reporting and data, perform analysis, identify reporting trends, and data quality issues. Researches and assists in resolutions and reconciles information with financial results where appropriate. Investigates data anomalies and segment reporting issues to ensure accurate and timely distribution of reports. Tests, documents, and reviews completed reports to ensure accurate data and analytics standards and procedures are met. Incumbent will support identification of key performance metrics; building dashboards; and ensuring improvements to the business are driven by data. Expanded responsibilities include KPI governance, dashboard ownership, executive insights, data storytelling, metadata management, and reporting inventory oversight. Fraud and dispute domain knowledge is preferred.

Day in the Life

  • Ensure all assigned reports are completed accurately and timely.

  • Develop and deploy reporting to reconcile operational and financial data.

  • Design and save queries to produce requested data using approved technology.

  • Investigate issues and document analysis and resolutions.

  • Design, develop, test, and implement scripted or application-based reporting solutions.

  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and executive reporting solutions using Power BI and BI platforms.

  • Perform data manipulation, advanced calculations, visualization design, and insight development.

  • Create and maintain KPI, dashboard, metadata, reporting inventory, and version-control documentation.

  • Provide data storytelling and executive-level analytical recommendations.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Data Analytics or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. 

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in SQL development (including query creation and modification, dataset creation, table maintenance, and large-scale data analysis) or MIS reporting and analysis required.

  • 2 years of experience creating and modifying macros, queries and tables.

  • Power BI expertise including DAX, Power Query, data manipulation, complex visualizations, dashboards, and calculations.

  • Experience working with other BI tools such as Qlik Sense, and Tableau

  • Data modeling, ETL/data pipeline, and metadata governance experience.

  • Knowledge of disputes, chargebacks, fraud operations, and case-management systems preferred.

Pay Equity

$75,800.00 - $96,700.00

Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
