Job DescriptionWD is looking for a dynamic and visionary Senior Director of Workplace Experience to lead the strategy and execution of an exceptional employee experience across our global workplace portfolio. This is not a traditional facilities role, we're looking for someone who understands that the best workplaces where culture, community, and connection come alive every single day. You will own the development of the employees' journey map and execute programs that bring them to life capturing the moments that matter from the moment they begin their entry into the workplace to shaping the daily environment where culture and space intersect while delivering amenity experiences.
This candidate will connect various stakeholders from IT, HR, Events, Site Services, Facility Maintenance and Design and Construction team to support the strategy and lead with Workplace Survey results for our global non- manufacturing locations. This role would be responsible for oversight of the CBRE Workplace Experience teams and setting the strategy and plan. This role will also require the candidate to be a contributing member on HRs' Leader's extended staff.
Deep understanding of typical employee experiences such as comfort, cleaning, food service, accessibility, and workplace appearance, not only from survey data but through listening, observation, and conversation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Bridge HR, IT, Facilities, Food Services, Events, and Communications into one cohesive experience.
- Translate vision into operational roadmaps, governance frameworks, and scalable programs.
- Background in human-centered design and journey mapping to make the workplace easy, productive, engaging, and consistent for employees across the company
- Ability to work across space, services, events, and technology as an integrated experience.
- Experienced in developing a clear Workplace Experience framework that connects physical space, services, culture, and programming into one unified narrative.
- Present Global and Regional strategies, program updates, and ROI metrics to senior leadership with confidence and clarity.
- Mindset of being creative, collaborative, and calm under pressure while making every employee feel like a guest.
Qualifications- 10+ years in workplace /employee experience, or hospitality.
- Bachelor's degree or higher education.
- Proven experience building and scaling programs across multiple sites or geographies.
- Strong communicator who can influence at all levels especially C-Suite.
- Budget management experience across vendors and programs
- Experienced in defining key metrics and translating data into insights.
- A genuine passion for people, workplace, and creating memorable moments.
Compensation & Benefits Details- An employee's pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.
- The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future.
- If your position is non-exempt, you are eligible for overtime pay pursuant to company policy and applicable laws. You may also be eligible for shift differential pay, depending on the shift to which you are assigned.
- You will be eligible to be considered for bonuses under either WD's Short Term Incentive Plan ("STI Plan") or the Sales Incentive Plan ("SIP") which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance, depending on your role and your performance. You may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan.
