end-to-end program delivery leadership for mission-critical T&O initiatives, ensuring alignment with RBC's strategic, risk, and regulatory imperatives. This role drives
value-based outcomes through accelerated execution, innovation, and governance of complex technical programs.
What will you do?- Program Delivery & Execution: Lead delivery of high-impact initiatives from strategy to execution, compressing timelines while ensuring compliance and quality.
- Portfolio Governance and Dependency management: Establish portfolio governance to prioritize interdependent programs, manage cross-program risks, and resolve critical path dependencies.
- Emerging Technology & Architecture Leadership: Design governance frameworks for highly technical architecture initiatives balancing innovation with risk mitigation.
- Stakeholder & Client-Centric Delivery:Collaborate directly with multiple stakeholders to align technical delivery with business outcomes and minimize disruption.
- Change Advocacy & Innovation: Promote agile methodologies and continuous improvement within T&O, fostering a culture of innovation and operational resilience.
- Program Leadership: Proven ability to lead large-scale technical programs with aggressive timelines, including governance, status reporting, and contingency planning.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience engaging directly with C-suite executives, clients, and cross-functional teams (tech, HR, compliance).
- Problem-Solving: Track record of resolving ambiguous, high-stakes challenges (e.g., unidentified data flows, legacy system limitations).
- Outcome Focus: Demonstrated success in accelerating migrations, reducing operational friction, and driving client retention.
What do you need to succeed?Must have:- 10+ years in technical program management/leadership within financial services.
- Direct experience leading complex program delivery (e.g. M&A, client migrations, or platform modernizations/transformations.
- Proven track record of influence at C-suite level, with strong executive presence and ability to lead critical strategic conversations with senior leadership.
- Strong understanding of technology and financial services industry, with demonstrated expertise across multiple business lines or functions within financial services.
- Demonstrated success driving technology adoption and transformation initiatives at scale, with measurable business outcomes and organizational impact.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation abilities. Demonstrated capability to influence diverse stakeholders and drive consensus across competing priorities.
- Strong strategic thinking, organizational, and project management capabilities with ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
Nice to have:- Executive-level stakeholder management experience in matrix environments such as large, publicly-traded corporations.
- Strategic experience facilitating between and influencing key decision makers at the executive level.

The expected salary range for this particular position is $200,000 - $340,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
