International Tax & Transfer Pricing: • Own the international tax function across Collectors’ operations in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Canada, Mexico, Germany, and France; ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and optimize the global tax position. • Design, implement, and maintain transfer pricing policies and intercompany agreements that are defensible, well-documented, and aligned with OECD guidelines and local country requirements. • Manage transfer pricing documentation, including master files, local files, and country-by-country reporting; coordinate with local advisors and in-country finance teams. • Oversee withholding tax, permanent establishment analysis, and cross-border cash repatriation strategies; partner with Treasury on the tax-efficient movement of funds across jurisdictions. • Lead relationships with international tax advisors and coordinate multi-jurisdictional tax audits and inquiries. M&A Tax & Joint Ventures: • Serve as the tax lead on all M&A transactions, including due diligence, structuring, purchase price allocation, integration planning, and post-close optimization. • Provide tax structuring advice for joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and new business arrangements; model the tax implications of various deal structures and entity configurations. • Lead the integration of acquired entities into Collectors’ tax compliance and reporting framework; ensure timely and accurate tax accounting for business combinations under ASC 740. • Advise on the tax treatment of earnouts, contingent consideration, non-compete agreements, and other deal-specific provisions.
