Job Summary:
Responsible for the management of the Adult Substance Use Residential Treatment Services from intake to discharge at six locations. Supervise the Program Directors and the Clinical Supervisors in their care of clients, interactions with families and collaterals, and the development of a healthy therapeutic milieu; ongoing review of clinical and therapeutic documentation and practice; provide training to staff on an on-going basis and supervise subsequent trainings, develop treatment protocol and policy in conjunction with BHRS Management Team; oversee hiring of program staff. Responsible for the management of Gandara's two recovery sober homes. Provides oversight and consultation to the Quality Assurance Manager for managing internal auditing, reporting, PQI, and trainings. Works with programs on the management of critical incidents.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Program Development Services - necessary to meet overall agency goals and provide support to management and program staff
To establish goals and objectives for all Adult Substance Use Recovery Residential programs and Sober Homes.
To ensure referral and intake process runs efficiently in conjunction with Program Administration.
To implement and evaluate the Program goals, including an annual report of accomplishments against objectives planned.
Hires staff subject to the approval of the VP of Behavioral Health and Recovery Services.
Train, supervise and evaluate the administrative staff of the various programs.
Responsible for the complete therapeutic and clinical services of all Adult SUD Residential Program sites and the Sober Homes
Responsible for all client tracking, incident evaluation and training programs.
Responsible for all supervision of Clinical Directors/Supervisors, Program Directors, and Quality Assurance Manager
Responsible for oversight of all personnel issues and union interactions at request of the VP of Behavioral Health and Recovery Services
Provides oversight and consultation to the Quality Assurance Manager for managing internal audting, reporting, PQI, and training
Necessary to meet administrative requirements of the job by government bodies, funding sources, agency policy, etc.
Accountability and availability to the 24-hour nature and needs of the program.
Prepares and writes therapeutic and clinical program narratives as needed
Writes program applications and submits them to the VP of Behavioral Health and Recovery Services.
Maintains standards and records in order to comply with all funding Agency requirements Program Data.
Assists (as a member of the Management Team) in the development of Agency policies and procedures.
Meets with Program Committee which serves in an advisory/consultant capacity to the Residential Services at the request of the VP of Behavioral Health and Recovery Services.
Acts as a liaison between Programs and other Agencies as well as the community at large.
Ensures adequate support service to the Program including consultation and training.
Oversees the ongoing development of therapeutic and clinical services.
Provides supervision to all programs in the management of critical incidents and internal investigations.
Works with collaterals in scheduling and coordinating external reporting and investigations.
Any other duties as assigned by the VP of Behavioral Health and Recovery Services.
