Senior Director, Solutions Development

Job Summary

JLL's Project Development Services (PDS) team is seeking a strategic Senior Director to support our Sales and Solutions Development initiatives. This role is instrumental in developing and implementing comprehensive project and program management solutions for design and construction initiatives across global geographies, diverse asset classes, and multiple industries. The ideal candidate will bridge technical expertise with commercial acumen to create innovative, client-focused solutions that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Solutions Development & Delivery
  • Design comprehensive project and program management solutions for complex design and construction initiatives tailored to client needs across global markets
  • Develop and implement pursuit and proposal management strategies, ensuring all deliverables meet the highest quality standards
  • Create compelling sales proposals showcasing effective project and program management methodologies specific to the construction industry
  • Adapt management strategies to accommodate regional differences in construction practices, regulations, and market dynamics

Strategic Sales Support
  • Partner with PDS Sales and Solutions Development Teams to craft winning strategies for key opportunities
  • Develop value propositions and ROI analyses that demonstrate measurable client benefits
  • Facilitate discovery workshops with clients to identify pain points and opportunities in their current project management processes
  • Create persuasive case studies and proof points that validate JLL's approach and capabilities
  • Provide C-suite level presentations and thought leadership on project delivery optimization

Market Intelligence & Innovation
  • Conduct market research on regional and programmatic construction trends to inform solution development
  • Stay current on emerging construction technologies and methodologies, integrating them into client solutions

Risk Management & Governance

Performance & Measurement

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (Master's in Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field) preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial construction and project management
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate real estate environments
  • Proven track record in sales processes, value proposition development, and trusted advisor relationship building

Technical Expertise
  • Expert knowledge of commercial and pricing frameworks relevant to the construction and project management industry
  • Deep understanding of project delivery methodologies (traditional, design-build, CM-at-Risk, IPD, etc.)
  • Strong business analytics capabilities and comfort with data-driven decision making
  • Technology proficiency with construction management platforms and business intelligence tools
