Full Job Description
The Senior Director, Program Management will fill a key role within Asurion's Retail organization. This position will be the leading authority responsible for managing a Fortune 20 company's underwriting performance.

Candidate will develop and lead our claims reserving strategy, conduct forecasting and variance analysis, manage risks, drive optimization, and partner internally to ensure that Asurion provides the most competitive claims experience. Candidate will also form critical trust-based relationships with our Client to drive understanding of performance as well as key trade-offs across costs and experience.

The ideal candidate must have strong business acumen, analytics foundation, solid understanding of data systems, and exceptional communication skills.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Underwriting performance management - own performance and partner internally to develop strategies to ensure account level profitability
  • Actuarial Insights - evaluate and measure performance metrics to ensure growth, customer experience, contract compliance, and profitability. Leads monthly/quarterly business reviews with various levels of internal and external leadership
  • Manage Reserving Strategy - responsible for pricing claims reserve and ensuring costs fall in line with pricing assumptions. Lead sell in of pricing and risk modifications with underwriter, internal, and external leadership
  • Client relationships - provide performance insights and subject matter expertise
  • Support monthly financial close and annual/quarterly forecasting process
  • Drive Optimization - partner effectively with Asurion Product, Operations, Strategy, Legal, and Technology teams to identify and execute the long-term growth roadmap
  • Influence Claims Process and Data Strategy - partner with internal teams to improve claims adjudication, expand fraud management, and ensure data quality
  • Team Leadership - infuse the team of direct and indirect reports with a sense of purpose and create clear accountability. Foster an environment of collaboration and data driven business decisioning
