Product Architect is a product leadership role responsible for shaping the platform as a cohesive product-ensuring its capabilities, experiences, and investments fit together around a clear product architecture. Working across platform product teams and in close partnership with engineering architecture, this role translates platform strategy into an intentional structure that enables reuse, consistency, scalability, and a simpler experience for platform consumers.
- Define the platform product architecture - establish the capabilities, primitives, boundaries, and relationships that make up the platform.
- Drive coherence across the portfolio - connect product roadmaps, identify gaps and duplication, and ensure investments collectively advance the platform strategy.
- Establish platform product principles and patterns - create consistent approaches for how capabilities are designed, composed, exposed, and consumed.
- Shape platform evolution - define the target-state product architecture and guide sequencing and tradeoffs required to move toward it.
- Champion the platform consumer - ensure the platform is intuitive, reusable, and delivers a consistent experience across products and teams.
The annual salary range for this position is $160,000.00 - $320,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 13 years' experience in product management. Option 2: 15 years' experience in product management or related area.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 12 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, Supervisory experience, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
