What is the opportunity?

As a Senior Director within the RBC AI Group, you will lead the strategy, planning, governance, and value realization for AI & Digital Transformation (ADT) initiatives.

ADT is building a centralized capability to deliver enterprise value through large-scale AI transformation programs. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, driving portfolio planning and governance while collaborating with senior executives, finance, and business leaders to shape investment decisions, define performance frameworks, and ensure AI initiatives deliver sustained enterprise impact.

What will you do?
  • Lead ADT Strategy: Articulate and execute RBC's vision for ADT, aligning with business goals and emerging AI trends
  • Lead portfolio planning and prioritization for large scale AI transformation programs and ADT team by aligning strategy, funding, and execution to focus on highest-impact opportunities
  • Manage executive governance and updates (Board, GE, OC, etc.) with clear decision frameworks
  • Enhance ADT engagement through leadership forums, committees, summits and conferences, partnering with Corporate Communications for key events
  • Collaborate with Executives: Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders to help them drive AI value realization by advocating for business initiatives with segment finance and the Value Office

You operate comfortably at the intersection of strategy, finance, and execution. You bring structure to ambiguity, influence senior stakeholders, and turn complex data into clear decisions

Must-have:
  • 10-15 years in strategy, transformation, consulting, or financial services leadership
  • 8-10 years experience in proven leadership roles in portfolio or program management
  • 8-10 years experience working with senior executives, including governance deliverables and, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and bridge divergent views.
  • Financial and business acumen, with a track record of driving strategic outcomes, managing complex budgets and maintaining strong financial governance
  • People management experience and ability to foster high-performing teams Resilience and adaptability to navigate challenges and drive outcomes in a dynamic environment.
