Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced operational leader to support and scale our Tunnel & Underground Major Projects Division across Canada. This leadership role is responsible for operational excellence, project governance, execution consistency, portfolio oversight, and integration between operations, engineering, estimating, and project controls.Responsibilities: - Lead operational governance and execution oversight across a portfolio of major tunnel and underground projects.
- Drive operational excellence, forecasting discipline, and performance consistency.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Directors and operational teams.
- Support strategic growth, pursuits, and organizational scalability.
- Oversee operational performance across multiple active projects and Joint Ventures.
- Standardize project reporting, forecasting, production tracking, and operational review processes.
- Lead operational reviews and identify emerging project risks early.
- Support estimating and pre construction activities including go/no-go reviews and execution planning.
- Coordinate resource planning across projects and pursuits.
- Drive implementation of operational KPIs and performance dashboards.

Requirements- 15+ years of heavy civil construction experience.
- Significant experience in tunneling, underground construction, trenchless, or major infrastructure projects.
- Experience overseeing large multidisciplinary teams and multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, forecasting, estimating, and execution.
- Experience working within Joint Venture project environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational capabilities.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation considered an asset.
- Experience with PPP/P3, Design-Build, or Alliance delivery models.
- Experience implementing operational systems and KPI frameworks.
- Experience scaling operations within a growing organization
