Full Job Description
If you are looking for true End-to-End (E2E) ownership rather than managing a micro-siloed slice of a legacy ad stack, this is your surface. As Sr. Director of Ads Product, you will hold direct leadership over Reddit's primary business interface-the Advertiser Platform, Campaign Management UI, Ads API, and Business Suite. You won't just be optimizing incremental workflows; you will have C-suite sponsorship to build the next-generation, AI-first advertiser experience, driving $1B+ scale impact with high execution velocity and high-autonomy decision-making. Key Responsibilities • Set the Next-Gen Vision: Define and evangelize a 3-year product roadmap. Drive the evolution from traditional campaign management tools to an Agentic AI-driven Ads Platform-integrating autonomous workflow tools, ML recommendations, and intelligent campaign orchestration. • Full-Funnel Platform Ownership: Own the global advertiser lifecycle E2E, including business identity dashboards, verification, multi-layer campaign management, automated creative tools, and deep-funnel performance/attribution reporting. • Lead a World-Class PM Org: Manage, develop, and scale a high-performing team of Product Managers (10+ PM org). Build a culture defined by high product craft, user empathy, rapid iteration, and technical rigor. • Architect the Developer & Partner Ecosystem: Shape the strategic vision for Reddit's Ads API and Business Suite, enabling agency partners and enterprise developers to build custom workflows and scale spend programmatically. • Global Market Expansion: Drive product strategy for international market expansion, localized enterprise tools, and agency-grade features to capture global ad spend. Who You Are • Experienced Ad Tech Product Leader: 10+ years leading product orgs within large-scale ad platforms, enterprise SaaS, or monetization systems (e.g., Campaign Managers, Ads Manager, Business Tools, Programmatic Buying, or Creative Automation). • Proven Org Builder: 4+ years directly managing and scaling PM teams of 10+ individuals, with a track record of attracting, developing, and retaining top PM talent. • High-Velocity Execution: You know how to ship fast and iterate in high-growth environments without getting bogged down by excessive operational drag. • AI/ML & Platform Savvy: Deep intuition for leveraging LLMs, generative AI, and ML optimization models to transform complex enterprise workflows into intuitive, self-service experiences. • Strategic Influence: Exceptional executive presence with a demonstrated ability to align cross-functional engineering, design, data science, and GTM leaders around a unified platform strategy. Preferred Qualifications • CS degree, engineering background, or equivalent deep technical grounding in distributed ad-serving platforms or APIs. • Experience scaling ad tech platforms through inflection points (e.g., $100M 1 $1B+ ARR scaling). Why Reddit? • Real Ownership & Scope: Own the entire advertiser platform end-to-end, with high autonomy and direct visibility to executive leadership. • Velocity Over Bureaucracy: Move fast, ship high-impact products, and test bold AI innovations without navigating layers of organizational friction. • 100% Remote Flexibility: Choose to work remotely from anywhere in the US, or leverage our hybrid office spaces in SF, NY, LA, or Chicago. • Top-Tier Total Compensation: Highly competitive base salary, strong equity participation in a high-growth public company, generous 401(k) matching, and full health coverage. • Life & Family Support: 16+ weeks paid parental leave, family planning stipend, home office stipend, flexible PTO, and dedicated volunteer time off. #LI-AS1 Pay Transparency: This job posting may span more than one career level. In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. Additionally, Reddit offers a wide range of benefits to U.S.-based employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) program with employer match, generous time off for vacation, and parental leave. About Reddit

Reddit is an American social news aggregation, web content rating, and discussion website. Registered members submit content to the site such as links, text posts, images, and videos, which are then voted up or down by other members. Posts are organized by subject into user-created boards called "communities" or "subreddits", which cover topics such as news, politics, religion, science, movies, video games, music, books, sports, fitness, cooking, pets, and image-sharing. Submissions with more upvotes appear towards the top of their subreddit and, if they receive enough upvotes, ultimately on the site's front page. Although there are strict rules prohibiting harassment, it still occurs, and Reddit administrators moderate the communities and close or restrict them on occasion. Moderation is also conducted by community-specific moderators, who are not considered Reddit employees. As of September 2021, Reddit ranks as the 19th-most-visited website in the world and 7th most-visited website in the U.S., according to Alexa Internet. About 42–49.3% of its user base comes from the United States, followed by the United Kingdom at 7.9–8.2% and Canada at 5.2–7.8%. Twenty-two percent of U.S. adults aged 18 to 29 years, and 14 percent of U.S. adults aged 30 to 49 years, regularly use Reddit. Reddit was founded by University of Virginia roommates Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian, with Aaron Swartz, in 2005. Condé Nast Publications acquired the site in October 2006. In 2011, Reddit became an independent subsidiary of Condé Nast's parent company, Advance Publications. In October 2014, Reddit raised $50 million in a funding round led by Sam Altman and including investors Marc Andreessen, Peter Thiel, Ron Conway, Snoop Dogg, and Jared Leto. Their investment valued the company at $500 million then. In July 2017, Reddit raised $200 million for a $1.8 billion valuation, with Advance Publications remaining the majority stakeholder. In February 2019, a $300 million funding round led by Tencent brought the company's valuation to $3 billion. In August 2021, a $700 million funding round led by Fidelity Investments raised that valuation to over $10 billion.
