Full Job Description
Location: Remote - This position may be performed remotely in states where the company is authorized to employ individuals.

Compensation: The expected starting base pay range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000, with full potential base salary range over a successful candidate's tenure in the position of $200,000 - $300,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, or other incentive compensation in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan of up to a 30% Bonus Target.

Employment Logistics:

The Senior Director of Forecasting & Load Planning provides oversight of delivery network operations, shaping the department's vision and strategy while influencing enterprise-wide initiatives and driving transformational change. This role collaborates in strategic decision-making and is responsible for departmental performance, budget stewardship, resource allocation, and talent development. The Senior Director ensures delivery network planning remains aligned with company objectives while supporting capacity, coverage, service performance, cost efficiency, and scalable growth.

The Must-Haves:
  • 15+ years of relevant experience, including experience leading divisions, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Expert knowledge of transportation, logistics, distribution, supply chain, and delivery network planning principles
  • Comprehensive understanding of the business and market context, enterprise strategy dynamics, and competitive landscape
  • Advanced financial fluency in capital allocation, governance, and compliance at an enterprise scale
  • Ability to build high-performing leadership benches and create measurable value

Your Mission in Motion:

  • Delivery network vision & strategy: Develop and execute the strategic vision for delivery network planning to ensure capacity, coverage, service performance, and cost efficiency across the network.
  • Forecasting, volume planning & scalability: Oversee demand forecasting, volume planning, and scenario modeling to anticipate network needs and support scalable growth.
  • Service delivery processes & policies: Develop and implement processes and policies that support efficient service delivery and adapt to the organization's changing needs.
  • Network design & optimization: Direct network design initiatives, including hub and terminal placement, linehaul planning, delivery territory alignment, and last-mile optimization.
  • Data analytics & continuous improvement: Use data analytics to measure activity, evaluate network performance, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Budget & resource stewardship: Oversee the departmental budget and allocate resources effectively and responsibly.
  • Organizational leadership & talent development: Hire, manage, schedule, and develop teams, with accountability for coaching, performance evaluations, corrective action, discipline, and termination recommendations.
