Full Job Description
Position Summary: The Senior Director of Application Strategy and Delivery shapes and executes the innovation and automation strategy to support the organization's vision and objectives in alignment with the Technology Department Charter as envisioned by senior IT leadership. They are responsible for leading the strategic initiatives in driving innovation and implementing automation solutions across the organization. This role is responsible for identifying, assessing, and executing automation projects to streamline business processes, enhance efficiency, and maintain a competitive edge in the market. The Director of Innovation and Automation will identify opportunities for automation, assess their feasibility, and manage the implementation of automation projects to improve efficiency and streamline processes. The position requires expertise in automation tools such as Power Automate, Workato, and RPA software including Automation Anywhere. The Director will document business requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and enhance the company's competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the automation strategy aligned with organizational goals and technology department charter.
  • Identify and prioritize automation opportunities across business functions.
  • Evaluate and recommend suitable automation technologies and tools.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document automation project requirements.
  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using relevant tools.
  • Maintain process maps, workflows, and documentation for automated processes.
  • Manage vendor relationships related to automation solutions.
  • Oversee the administration of the case management system, Filevine, ensuring system stability and optimization.
  • Provide technical leadership to the automation team, ensuring best practices and standards.
  • Monitor and measure the performance of automated processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on emerging automation trends and technologies, recommending innovative solutions.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including executives, to provide updates on automation initiatives and demonstrate business value.

Physical Requirements:
  • Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions.
  • Stationary Position - Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time.
  • Move or Traverse - This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, office machinery, etc. May occasionally ascends/descends the stairs to get to other floors, cafeteria and parking area.
  • Dexterity - constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as a copy machine/printer.
  • Move, Transport, Position, Put, Install, Remove - Occasionally moves supplies weighing up to 10 pounds for various presentation and event needs.
  • Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information - The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate, Assess - The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
