Full Job Description
Opportunity:

The Senior Director will own experiential strategy and activation for a partnership marketing client in the prediction market category - translating the client's partnership portfolio into breakthrough live experiences that build brand and drive measurable business growth. The role leads the experiential discipline for the account: setting the activation vision, shaping the annual experiential plan, and directing the cross-functional teams that bring programs to life, from concept through on-site execution and post-program measurement.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Director is a client-facing leader expected to maintain an in-depth understanding of the client's business and category, forge senior-level partnerships with client-side counterparts, and serve as the agency's authority on how live experience unlocks value across the portfolio. The position blends big-picture experiential thinking with disciplined activation management.

  • Define the experiential strategy and annual activation roadmap across the client's partnership portfolio, ensuring every program ladders to brand and business objectives.
  • Conceive, develop, and sell in signature experiential platforms - activations, hospitality programs, mobile/pop-up experiences, and event IP - that build the client's brand and create renewable, ownable moments.
  • Collaborate with the larger activation team on activation planning, budget development, creative and content, and on-site management.
  • Serve as senior client counsel, ensuring the client continually receives superior strategic thinking, service, and communication, and that programs, budgets, schedules, and documentation stay on track.
  • Direct the use of the client's partnership assets within experiential programs - including talent appearances, hospitality inventory, IP usage, and on-site brand presence - and manage the client-property approvals process.
  • Lead measurement for all experiential work: define success metrics up front, manage tracking and recap materials, and translate results into ROI narratives and optimization recommendations.
  • Mentor and develop account and activation staff, setting the standard for on-site professionalism, client service, and craft.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of prior experiential experience required
  • Demonstrated experience leading experiential marketing, event marketing, brand activation, or integrated agency programs.
  • Strong client-service and relationship-management skills, with the ability to serve as a credible senior strategic partner.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects, teams, budgets, and timelines in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience overseeing program financials, including estimates, invoices, budget tracking, and reconciliations.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership experience with a commitment to mentoring and developing team members.
  • A strategic, detail-oriented, collaborative mindset with a passion for producing outstanding live brand experiences.

Considerations

  • Base salary range in New York, NY: $150-170k annually
  • This represents the salary range that Allied Sports, in good faith, might be willing to pay for this job at the time of this posting. Actual base salary depends on several factors, including market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), and level of responsibility. Allied Sports expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Allied Sports would consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range only in truly exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials, or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position.
  • Hybrid schedule: Office in New York, NY with 3 days in-office (Tues-Thurs) and 2 days remote (Mon & Fri) weekly.
