Full Job Description
Labcorp is seeking a US based remote Senior Director, Commercial Strategy and Special Initiatives to join our Specialty Oncology team.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Director, Commercial Strategy & Special Initiatives serves as a highly versatile commercial leader and organizational utility player responsible for driving high-impact, cross-functional initiatives across the oncology business. Reporting directly to the SVP, Specialty Businesses, this role provides strategic leadership, operational execution, and change management support for key commercial priorities.

The individual will operate as a trusted extension of the SVP, leading projects that span sales, marketing, business development, market access, operations, customer experience, product implementation, and organizational transformation. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, the ability to influence without authority, exceptional project management skills, and the agility to move between strategic planning and hands-on execution.

Strategic Initiatives
• Support enterprise-wide oncology commercial initiatives identified by executive leadership.
• Develop business cases, strategic recommendations, and implementation plans supporting growth objectives.
• Drive special projects related to organizational design, territory alignment, go-to-market strategy, customer segmentation, and commercial effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities to improve business performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Cross-Functional Leadership
• Serve as the primary liaison between commercial, operations, marketing, medical, product, finance, and executive leadership teams.
• Coordinate complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and business units.
• Align resources, priorities, and execution plans to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Facilitate executive steering committees and project governance activities.

Commercial Excellence
• Support optimization of oncology sales structures, account strategies, compensation programs, and deployment models.
• Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, customer feedback, and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.
• Partner with sales leadership to implement best practices and improve commercial execution.

Organizational Transformation
• Lead change management efforts associated with integration activities, new product launches, or strategic growth initiatives.
• Develop communication plans, leadership presentations, and executive updates.
• Support talent planning and organizational effectiveness initiatives.

Executive Support
• Act as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the SVP.
• Prepare executive presentations, board-level materials, business reviews, and strategic recommendations.
• Track progress against strategic objectives and ensure accountability across stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 8 or more years of experience in oncology diagnostics, biopharma, healthcare services, or healthcare commercial organizations.

Preferred Qualifications
• Masters degree
• 8 or more years of experience leading cross-functional initiatives and enterprise projects.
• 8 or more years of experience supporting sales leadership, business strategy, commercial operations, or business transformation efforts.

Pay Range: $190k - $220k annually (USD)

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers. Compensation may also include discretionary short- and long-term incentive packages.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
