About the Role:CBRE is actively recruiting for a Senior Director for Canada Account Management, due to a recent internal promotion. As a CBRE Senior Director supporting the Account Management business across Canada, you will partner and engage on a portfolio of strategic occupier accounts, drive client engagement and growth, and lead a team of account leaders and transaction management professionals delivering integrated real estate services. You will be the senior account executive for the Canadian Account Management platform, ensuring that the best interests of our clients and CBRE are advanced together.
This role is part of the overall North American Accounts business and is closely aligned with business strategies and execution with Canadian Market Leadership. You will partner closely with our Leasing Occupier brokerage leadership in Canada, transaction management leaders, and enterprise functional partners to scale a unified delivery model for our occupier clients.
What You'll Do:- Build and scale the Canada accounts business. Define and execute the multi-year strategy to grow CBRE's Account Management platform across Canada, including target client segments, service mix, geographic footprint, operating model, and commercial framework. Establish the governance structures and infrastructure needed to scale a fully integrated platform for occupier clients.
- Lead end-to-end account delivery across the Canadian portfolio. Own delivery quality, client outcomes, and commercial performance for the occupier accounts headquartered or significantly operating in Canada. Hold account leaders accountable for service excellence, contract compliance, and continuous improvement across all client engagements.
- Serve as the senior client-facing executive for the Canadian platform. Build trusted relationships with C-suite, corporate real estate, and procurement leaders at our largest occupier clients. Lead executive-level account reviews, QBRs, governance forums, and renewal conversations. Resolve escalations and represent CBRE at the most senior client touchpoints.
- Drive revenue growth, client retention, and expansion. Own the P&L for the Canada Account Management portfolio and deliver against targets for revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and contribution. Identify and convert cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Leasing Services, Consulting, Project Management, Facilities Management, Workplace, Capital Markets, and other CBRE service lines.
- Pursue and win new occupier accounts in the Canadian market. Partner with Client Solutions, Market Leaders and brokerage partners to identify, qualify, pursue and win new strategic accounts. Lead executive sponsorship of major pursuits and shape commercial proposals, scope, and operating models that reflect best-in-class CBRE delivery.
- Engage broker account partners as a fully integrated platform. Build strong working relationships with Canadian Advisory & Transaction Services brokerage leadership, broker account teams, and named account brokers. Lead the broker and Account Management support for Canada, including joint operating models, account team alignment, transaction management coverage, and shared commercial governance.
- Lead the Canadian transaction management workforce strategy. Set the workforce model for transaction management professionals supporting Canadian accounts - covering capacity planning, role design, capability development, and integration with CBRE's global transaction management platform. Partner with HR, talent, and finance to deploy the right talent against the right work at the right cost.
- Operate as a peer to the regional Senior Directors and shape the global platform. Contribute to the Account Management leadership team alongside the U.S. regional Senior Directors. Help shape platform-wide priorities, share best practice across regions, and represent the Canadian operating context in enterprise decision-making.
- Sponsor and execute strategic initiatives across the Account Management platform. Lead and contribute to platform-wide programs spanning operating model evolution, technology and data, pricing and commercial governance, talent and learning & development, and client experience. Translate enterprise initiatives into executable plans for the Canadian business.
- Build, develop, and retain a high-performing team. Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop account leaders, transaction managers, and supporting professionals. Establish clear performance expectations, conduct meaningful reviews, manage compensation and rewards decisions, and maintain a deep talent pipeline. Build a culture grounded in CBRE's RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence) values.
- Establish commercial and financial discipline across Canadian accounts. Own pricing, scoping, contract structuring, and rebate and commission economics in partnership with Account Management and Market Leadership, finance, legal, and commercial functions. Drive accurate forecasting, margin discipline, and timely revenue recognition; resolve commercial disputes and contract issues; and provide decision-grade reporting to senior CBRE leadership on the state of the Canadian business.
- Ensure regulatory, contractual, and risk integrity. Maintain compliance with Canadian regulatory, licensing, privacy, and labor requirements as well as client contractual obligations and CBRE risk policies. Partner with risk, legal, and compliance functions on master service agreements, liability frameworks, and audit responses.
- Lead by example and embody CBRE RISE values. Champion the CBRE brand externally with clients, prospects, industry associations, and strategic partners. Set the tone for the Canadian Account Management organization in how decisions are made, how clients and colleagues are treated, and how performance is delivered. Persuade peers, partners, and external stakeholders to act, negotiate effectively across parties of divergent interest, and solve complex, multi-dimensional challenges by improving and evolving methods, processes, and standards across the discipline.
What You'll Need:- Master's Degree preferred with 10-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Real Estate salesperson license preferred.
- Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
- Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems
- Proven leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple department results within a function.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Expert organizational skills and an advanced, inquisitive mindset.
- Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The salary being offered for this position is $180,000-$200,000 annually.
